Pool membership only (must have agreed current training) 2025

Pay for pool membership if you already have a current wet-side qualification. To purchase membership through this avenue, you will need to contact Ros Brousson on ros.brousson@aveton-gifford.co.uk or 07773 148152  who will discuss your qualification and if it meets criteria, she will give you a code which will then enable you to pay for membership on this site. If you qualify for pool membership without training, you must register and pay for your membership by the 24th May 2025. 

Three types of pool memberships are available:

• Family membership
  1 to 2 adults + child(ren): £70 per year + £1.88 booking fee.
  To accompany children to the pool independently you must have completed an approved training course. If you have a second adult in your household who doesn't hold a approved qualification who wants to attend the pool without you in attendance, you will need to book membership and training for them through the 'Book training & buy membership link' from the main booking page.
• *NEW* Single Parent Family membership
  1 adult + child(ren): £56 per year + £1.67 booking fee.
  This membership is available only to households with one adult. It is not for households with two adults where only one plans to use the pool. The Parish Council introduced this discount in response to feedback from single-parent households with a single income to ensure fairer pricing.
  
• Single Adult membership
  For individual adults only (no children). £40 per year + £1.42 booking fee.
  If you are a household with two adults and no children please purchase a Family Membership instead.

Please note: There is no reduction on the membership fee if you have your own wet-side qualification, as the membership fees are put towards running costs of the pool.

To purchase pool membership prior to the 22nd April you must be living in the parish of Aveton Gifford or have children attending primary or pre-school in the village. Your application will be checked to ensure you meet these criteria. If these requirements aren't met, your membership application and training course place will be refused and refunded in full. Memberships will open up to those outside the parish from the 22nd April.

GUEST POLICY

This year we are allowing each membership to take up to 4 visiting guests. One adult who has completed the mandatory resuscitation course must be present at all times. Adult to child ratios must always be observed please for both your own household swims, and also when taking extra guests.
