Lunchtime Live - Anna Sklair and Sharon Pinhas - "Using VIG within Parenting Assessments"
Need help?
Tickets for November's session have now sold out, but please watch this space for details of our next Lunchtime Live session in December.
AVIGuk are pleased to launch the first in a series of new Events - 'Lunchtime Live'. From November 2024. The sessions will be 12.30 - 1.30 pm on a Tuesday every month, there will be a guest speaker, talking about VIG or VERP, with time for questions and discussion at the end. Bring your lunch, take a seat, come and join us for a series of fantastic talks and discussion!
This month we are delighted to invite Anna Sklair and Sharon Pinhas to deliver their session on: 'Using VIG within Parenting Assessments - through a Parent's and Professional's Lens'
We will be thinking about the benefits, challenges and dilemmas of using VIG within parenting assessments for Court, as well as sharing and reflecting on a case example.
Anna and Sharon delivered one of our really popular workshops at the the AVIGuk 2023 International Conference - we are sure that anyone who missed it will be delighted to catch this opportunity to join them!
Lunchtime Lives are a series of free events, open to AVIGuk members and non-members alike. Please do share with colleagues or those you know might be interested in VIG.
* Event link to be shared at a later date.
Whilst the events are free, we would like to encourage donations to our AVIGuk bursary fund.... AVIGuk is a charity whose purpose is to address the needs of those people who are 'socially excluded' and to assist them to integrate into society using video interaction guidance. Our bursary forms part of that mission. Specifically, the bursary enables people without sufficient financial means to have access to AVIGuk resources via the learning platform. For example: working in a country where the membership costs are considered too high or working for a charitable organisation where there is limited funding. Please just pay what you feel, all donations very appreciated.
Attending these sessions, would be a great way to complete your CPD hours too!
See you soon.... your Tuesday lunchtimes have never looked so lively!
Warmest wishes
Oonagh and Ava
