Arnos Vale Cemetery is a Grade 2 registered Park and Garden and is an important example of the Arcadian style. It was laid out between 1837 and 1840 by the Bristol General Cemetery Company to designs by Bristol architect Charles Underwood, with planting by the Bristol nurserymen James Garraway and Martin Mayes.
There is limited parking on the site, but nearby street parking. There is a cafe at the cemetery open from 10.30 - 4pm. serving light refreshments.
