The Wild Experimental Garden with Alison Jenkins
The Wild Experimental Garden with Alison Jenkins
Damson Farm is a 2-acre regenerative garden which sits in a quiet valley on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, a few miles east of Bath. Alison will explain how the garden has evolved over the years to become a place where creativity, biodiversity, people and productivity are richly layered. She will outline her approach to managing the garden, drawing together diverse influences from design, permaculture, craft and ecology with the intention to create a sense of place that feels nourishing and beautiful as well as resilient.
Alison trained as a gardener and then as a garden designer in London almost 30 years ago. She took on Damson Farm in 2010 when the garden was little more than a field. She now runs a programme of workshops from Damson Farm which take a regenerative, ecological approach to gardening and our wider relationship to the natural world
