The Iron Duke Festival

September 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the return of the Iron Duke. The festival will celebrate the industrial heritage of the town, to honour its workforce and to enthuse those who have come to live here since the factory's closure 30 years ago.

We have initiated a festival programme for this weekend to mark the return of the Iron Duke, including music, film, a rubber-related art exhibition. This weekend will also mark the launch of The Avon Works' future programmes.
