Ayla Performs Anywhere

Ayla Performs Anywhere is not a company or a nonprofit. It’s the independent work of an Ayla.

Each project begins with an idea and an invitation. From there, a community of artists, collaborators, and friends come together to build something from the ground up. The work is ensemble-driven at its core, but always initiated, shaped, and produced by an Ayla.

Rooted in physical theatre and devised creation, this work challenges the audience not to remain witnesses, but to become the final player.

These pieces live in nontraditional spaces and are shaped by the people, the place, and the moment they are created in so that the work truly may live anywhere.
