This clinic is being held at a client's private yard at a beautifully peaceful location in Bewdley, Worcestershire, where there is a full size, well-surfaced outdoor arena.

This is a morning clinic, typically running from 8am-2pm. Once you have booked a place, please message us via Facebook if you have any time preference. 

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲
Mike works with competitive and non-competitive riders, and with horses and ponies of every age, breed, and type. You don’t need to be competing, riding at any particular level or have a top bred horse to join – just keen to learn.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲
Mike’s calm, empathetic approach is built on 'training through explaining', using traditional classical dressage techniques that are easily understood by the horse. He promotes a kinder way to ride and train — without force or fear — encouraging horses and ponies to work softly through their bodies, with correct alignment and good posture.

Classical dressage is about gymnasticising the horse to develop strength, suppleness, and straightness, helping them perform at their best and stay sound for longer; creating balance and longevity through correct, thoughtful training.

With extensive experience in equine rehabilitation, Mike also specialises in restarting remedial horses, as well as starting young horses, with confidence and clarity.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE ⚠️: The turning off the main road to this yard is unsuitable for larger vehicles, therefore spaces are unfortunately restricted to those in smaller lorries <7.5T and trailers.

𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼

• £55 for a private, 45 min  lesson. This is the total cost & includes any arena hire fee payable to the venue.
• Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space. Bookings are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer your slot to another rider if you later can’t attend.
• Please note: this is an outdoor venue & the clinic will run regardless of weather conditions, unless extreme or genuinely unsafe (e.g. heavy snow).
