Strontium 25 - Strontium Daze with Fortunate Ones

Back in the days when music meant something, a pair of bands bestrode the legendary Stamford & Peterborough alternative music scenes like a spiky-haired colossus. Strontium Daze played hard driven dark rock & goth classics from the likes of Bauhaus, The Sisters & Joy Division, while Honeycomb Veil focussed on original material influenced by The Cure, REM & The Smiths. The bands shared a core rhythm section of Matt Baxter on drums and John Kidston on bass. Strontium Daze were completed by Rob Hunter on vocals and Nick Blake on guitar, while Honeycomb Veil's last member was singer/guitarist/songwriter Adrian Zolotuhin.

This Summer the bands will have their second reunion concert in Overton, Hampshire, supported by local rockers Fortunate Ones. It will be a glorious and unmissable celebration of all that's beautiful and dark and rockin'. From a time when music meant something.
