Budapest Cafe Orchestra at the Church
Budapest Cafe Orchestra at the Church
Need help?
Purveyors of Premium Folk & Gypsy flavoured musical entertainment, violin superstar Christian Garrick, accordion genius Eddie Hession, double bass legend Kelly Cantlon and local guitar wrangler Adrian Zolotuhin will be making their Overton Church debut this May.
The living embodiment of shabby chic, Budapest Cafe Orchestra take great tunes and re-purpose them (with impeccable musicianship and a touch of humour) for a concert audience. Toes will tap, tears may be shed, but you can be guaranteed an evening of beautiful music.
"The Music is Magic in their hands" - Sean Rafferty, BBC Radio 3
Providing support will be Imperial Balalaika Orchestra of Overton, a cohort of local young Cossacks who pride themselves on bringing the music and instrumentation of the Slavic lands to the rolling hills of Northern Khempshire.
This show will very sadly be the swansong for our beloved Enigma Machine technician Eddie, who is moving on to share his genius with some other lucky musicians. Please come and celebrate his dazzling brilliance with us. We shall certainly miss him.
Standard Tickets £21 (+£1.25 booking fee) - Under-18's £10 (+ £1 booking fee)
There will be a Bar provided by the local Scout Troop, and (of course) a CD stall.
