Our next B2B Lunch Club is on on 11 September in The Minstrel Room at the Iconic Maids Head Hotel in Norwich. Famed for its amazing food, served in historic surroundings, the Maids Head sits in the heart of Norwich’s Tombland district.

Our menu is Marinated Lemon & rosemary lamb rump, minted mash potatoes, shallots & garden pea fricassee, jus. Followed by Vanilla & passionfruit parfait, white chocolate cremeux, pineapple carpaccio with pistachio. (Vegetarian option is available, please note your dietary requirements at the booking stage).

David Hill of Ward Hill HR

We are delighted to be joined by David Hill. After serving for 8 years as a Navigation and Communication Officer operating in Mine Warfare and Bomb Disposal ships in the Royal Navy, he transferred to work in Nuclear Submarines.

Subsequently he completed a 20-year career in corporate HR roles in a wide range of business sectors and businesses including BP, Securicor, MoD Research before moving to Norfolk in late 1990’s. Since then, David has worked in HR Managerial roles for organisations in financial services, pharmaceutical research, construction and commercial media broadcasting.

Setting up Ward Hill HR, an independent HR Consultancy business in 2007, David supports SME businesses across all industry sectors. Typically, his work includes addressing employee relations issues such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, sickness absence management, performance management concerns and contractual terms of employment.

David is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and achieved a Masters degree in Employment Law from UEA. In his talk he will look at the practical impact and implications of some of the recent and forthcoming changes in the employment regulations and some of the more intriguing situations he’s dealt with and from the HR environment.

If you use the Maids Head's onsite car park you will need to record your registration number at Reception. Additional car parking is located at Monastery Court or St Andrews, a short walk away.
