The purpose of this workshop is to wake up the inner child and experience a state of play via clowning, yoga, dance and games. You don't need any prior experience. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in.

This workshop is inspired by movement classes taken in physical theater school in France. We will experiment with playing outward rather than reflecting inward, as is typical in yoga. We will establish complicity (togetherness) with our fellow classmates and experiment with following the impulses of our imagination in a safe environment.

A "safe" environment in the clowning world is a little different than in yoga. This is a safe place to express yourself freely and make mistakes. We grant ourselves freedom when playing to say and do things that in normal life might be inappropriate (within reason).

THIS CLASS WILL BE SILLY. Don’t expect to learn anything. (Aside from the meaning of life and your true purpose.)
