Glow State is a biological phenomena that we experience while sharing moments of connection with people and the warm feeling in our stomach after these moments. Music and yoga are two portals to experiencing this sensation. Through this event, we would be making a collective pathway to the Glow State.

Nev will guide a mellow yet deep yin flow (long-held passive postures that target connective tissue) that offers you a mindfully meditative state, while Akul provides experimental electronic sound. Akul's soundscapes, which rely on mystical elements as sources of inspiration - outer space, the ocean, trees, and our subconscious - will support both intro- and extro-spective awareness of your meditation experience. 

To conclude our time together, we will serve tea and share (optional) about our individual and collective experience of the Glow State.

Akul (they/them) is a multimodal sound artist working as a composer, DJ, producer, and sound designer, blending sounds from the musical communities they have encountered: classical, psychedelia, dance, and experimental electronic. Nev (she/her) is a meditation and yoga teacher exclusively at Baby Cobra Yoga, and our Studio Manager. She is a student of Yin, Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, as well as Theravada Buddhist meditation and Buddhism. Nev's teachings can be found at the studio and in person, with no online presence.
