Po Dinner: A Yoga & Holistic Banquet with Chauncie & Cassia

Sun Nov 16, 2025 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM Baby Cobra Yoga - East Village - 237 First Ave, 4th floor, New York, 10003

Join us for a deeply nourishing evening that combines mindful movement, seasonal plant-based dining, and community connection. Together, we will explore yoga practices rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, followed by a holistic meal designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. This event is an invitation to honor the season of fall, connect with the element of Metal (lungs & large intestine), and reflect on themes of letting go, grief, and cherishing what is most precious.

Theme: The Element of Metal – Lung & Large Intestine
● A grounding and energizing yoga sequence designed to: Open and stimulate the lung & large intestine meridians; Support digestion and elimination; Clear the mind and cultivate mindfulness before eating
● Energetic focus: cultivating clarity, letting go, and making space for nourishment
● Emotional focus: grief, sadness, and the healing power of release
● Aesthetic inspiration: stones, gems, caves, and minerals – grounding symbols of
inner strength and resilience

Reflection prompts during/after yoga:
● “What are you ready to let go of this season?”
● “In this moment, what feels most precious to you?”

Dinner & Seasonal Nourishment (1.5 hours), created by our guest chef, the meal will be:
● Plant-based – emphasizing whole, nourishing foods that are easy to digest and energize the body
● Seasonal – crafted with ingredients that are naturally abundant in fall, aligning our bodies with nature’s cycles
● Locally sourced – supporting farmers and community, while ensuring freshness and vitality of ingredients
● Healing-focused – inspired by Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, balancing the body and harmonizing the internal organs with the season

Menu Highlights:
● Herbal teas to support lung & large intestine function
● A grounding seasonal entrée aligned with fall’s energetic needs
● A delicious Ayurvedic-inspired dessert

Why this is important:
Eating seasonally and locally is more than a trend—it’s an act of harmony with nature. Fall harvest foods support immunity, aid digestion, and help us process both physical and emotional transitions. When combined with mindful eating in community, food becomes medicine for the body, heart, and spirit.

Community Connection & Closing Reflections: At the dinner table, we will create space to share insights and reflect on:
● “How are you nurturing what is most precious in your life?”
● “In what ways does eating together support your process of letting go and healing?”
This communal meal is a reminder that nourishing our bodies is also about nourishing our relationships and fostering collective healing.

Closing Note: This event is an offering of movement, food, and community—all designed to support us in aligning with the natural rhythms of fall. Together, we will breathe, release, nourish, and connect in a way that honors both the individual and the collective.
