The Healing Voice: Sound, Breath & Nervous System Regulation: This workshop is designed to support authentic self-expression, nervous system regulation, and vocal freedom through breathwork, sound, and contemplative voice practices.
No singing experience is required. The workshop is particularly supportive for yoga teachers, therapists, coaches, performers, creatives, and anyone working with self-expression or nervous system regulation.
This workshop integrates a short somatic movement and breath sequence to prepare the body, followed by guided vocal exploration, nervous system regulation practices, meditation, and sound-based techniques drawn from yoga, ayurveda and contemplative traditions, including Vishuddha (throat chakra) work.
Participants experience:
• A short somatic movement and breath sequence to open the body for voice work
• Breath practices for nervous system regulation and vocal support
• Humming, toning, and resonance practices
• Vocal exercises to release tension and build confidence in self-expression
• Vishuddha (throat chakra) practices for clarity, authenticity, and communication
• Sound meditation and accessible mantra practice
• Voice as a tool for presence, emotional regulation, and personal expression
Participants can opt in to receive a digital book Andrea wrote on Vishuddha chakra and the practices to bring it back to balance.
