While this workshop is designed to fulfill the training requirement for those pursuing ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association) Certification for both birth doulas and childbirth educators, we welcome all participants with a desire to educate and empower birthing families. 

Throughout the workshop, you’ll receive the tools and support needed to pursue certification and begin teaching childbirth classes with confidence, alongside providing birth doula services. Together, we’ll explore a wide range of topics, including:

2. Reproduction and healthy lifestyles
3. Labor and Birth Process
4. Comfort measures, coping skills, and pain relief
5. Family Integration
6. Postpartum and Newborn Care
7. Teaching skills for adult learners
8. Coping with the unusual

10. ICEA Certification information

Workshop Schedule:

• Thursday, Nov 19th: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Friday, Nov 20th: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday, Nov 21th: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Sunday, Nov 22nd: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Tuition

• Early Bird (through Nov 12th): $1400
• Standard Tuition: $1650

Refunds, minus a $250 administrative fee, are available through Nov 5th.
