Back2Basic Campout 2026

Our small campout is basic and low-key with your friends and a Soundsystem.  We program the music appropriately for eclectic tunes durning the day and a proper dance party at night.  Unlike our local parties, we bring the full Soundsystem so the music can be enjoyed throughout the meadow, and this year under a full moon! Whaaat!? We'll bring it down to ambient and dub before we cut the music from 4am-11am. 

Tickets
Tickets cost $130 (including $5 service fee), which includes car camping for 3 nights.  No tickets are sold at the gate.  At check-in we'll confirm that every ticket holder has signed a waiver.  Due to liability, we cannot have dogs, minors, or fires at the campout.  

Camping
Gates open at 10AM on Friday 9/25, and you can stay until 3PM on Monday 9/28. The location offers plenty of shaded car camping.  We may ask you to reposition your vehicle to help maximize flat shaded areas. Rustic showers are available on-site and each ticket includes one shower ticket.  Additional showers are $5 each, so bring $5 bills if you want more than 

RVs  20ft or less are fine, but after purchasing a ticket, you must contact us so we can register your RV.   Email back2basicsrenegade@gmail.com.  If your RV is larger than 20ft, please contact us before you purchase your ticket as there is very limited space for larger RVS and your larger RV will get turned away if we have not talked to you first.   There are no hook ups and absolutely no generators. 

Drinking Water and Bar
Although you need to bring enough drinking water, (a gallon a day per person) there is potable water on site and a large communal filtering system that can be shared if you run low.  We built a bar! This will serve coffee in the mornings provided by Ben Cook, wine tasting by Ed and Gabby's Disco Caviste, and non-alcoholic creations by Oakland's Room 389.  If you want to bring a bottle of booze, beer, or other beverages to add to the communal bar, we would love that.  Coffee and drinks are complementary while supples last. Bring your own cup.

Food
There won't be any food vendors on site, so please bring everything you will need for the weekend, including bags to pack it all out.  Sai and Buna will be cooking up rice, beans, and other tidbits.  You are welcome to grab a plate while supplies last. Bring your own plates and forks.  

Please take care of yourself, know your limits, and watch out for friends.  We are a chill dance community that has no tolerance for bad behavior.  Last year was epic; hope to see you there.
