Backup's Village Fete heads to new location -

 Whilton Mill Karting Circuit in Daventry

Re-vamped and at its new home of Whilton Mill Karting Circuit, this is set to be the biggest and best Village Fete yet!

The Village Fete takes place on Thursday July 9th at its new home, a nationally recognised motorsport venue means more space and more facilities, with access to a three-hour karting challenge on a UK National Karting Circuit, expanded capacity and improved facilities, more activities and ways to get involved.

This event will go on sale in two phases -

• 09:00 AM on Tuesday 24th March 2026, for Backup’s Partners 

• 09:00 AM on Thursday 26th March 2026, for General Sale

Hospitality packages and day pass tickets

Kart Team Package

Kart Team price is £1,600 per team.
Each team may enter up to 6x drivers for the three-hour endurance race. Each team must select 1x driver for entry into our 5 Star Cases 'Flight Case Relay'. In addition included in the cost of the karting prices is a FOC Fete Stall (4m x 4m space to install and run your own fete stall and use as your company base).

Gamekeepers Pitch Package

(non-karting teams)

Gamekeepers Pitch price is £360 per pitch.  
This includes 6 x tickets and a space to pitch your own gazebo, so you can get involved in all the action (excluding karting) from a comfortable base.

Individual Estate Day Pass Ticket

Day Pass wristbands are available for £65 per person. 

The Estate Day Pass Ticket gives you access to roam and enjoy all the fun (excluding karting) of our Village Fete! 

What else is included in your hospitality package and day pass ticket -

• Lunch and soft drinks (the latter throughout the day) including an ice cream from a traditional Ice Cream van!
• Option to enter the following Village Fete competitions; 'Bake Off' and 'Veg Off' 
• Automatic entry into our 'Best Dressed Villager' competition for those who come dressed to impress on the day, in an outfit that exemplifies Village Fete or Village / countryside theme... or even better if you can incorporate village combined industry theme too 😉

Please note that due to the popularity of the event, we have restricted all hospitality packages to one per company. If you require additional tickets, you can purchase 'Individual Day Pass Tickets' which are unlimited.

The Sporting Pass Team Challenge

Team Entry £200 per team (team of 6) /  Individual Entry £35 per person

Enter The Sporting Pass Team Challenge and compete in a lively team contest featuring axe throwing and clay pigeon shooting. Rally your finest shots, steadiest hands, and boldest team members for a sporting showdown that will test accuracy, nerve, and teamwork in equal measure. Whether you are out to claim victory or simply fancy trying something new, this is your chance to sharpen your aim, hone your shot, and prove your team is truly of good stock, with just the right touch of landed gentry flair. Tweed optional. Competitive spirit essential.

Please note that this competition entry requires you to have purchased your event ticket (via Hospitality Package or Estate Day Pass ticket) to be able to access this event first. 

The 'Tweed Before' 

Pre-Fete Evening Meet-up (Wed 8th July)  £30 per person

We are very excited to introduce a brand-new addition to this year’s Village Fete: our Pre-Fete Evening Meet-Up, proudly sponsored by PLASA.

Taking place on Wednesday 8th July, the night before the main event, we will be hosting an informal events industry get-together for anyone who would like to join us. It will be a chance to catch up with friends, meet fellow parishioners, enjoy some food and drink, and start the Village Fete spirit a little early. The meet-up will be held at a local hostelry.
