Genticorum Quebecois Song Workshop + Concert in Blue Hill, Maine

Sunday Sept 7 | Bagaduce Music, 49 South Street, Blue Hill, ME 04614

Quebecois Song Workshop: 1pm

Join us for an uplifting vocal workshop with the incredible songsters of Canadian super-group, Genticorum at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 7, at Bagaduce Music, 49 South St in Blue Hill.

Pascal Gemme, Nicholas Williams, and Yann Falquet have deep roots in the traditional music of Canada and other cultures, and they bring their knowledge and passion to their lush harmonic singing and leadership. This workshop is a rare opportunity to explore traditional Quebecois song repertoire with the whole band. Be ready for the full-voiced resounding harmonies of Genticorum’s joie de vivre!

Participate in just the workshop, or stay for the 4pm matinee concert on the Bagaduce campus! (Separate ticket).

(SOLD OUT) Blue Hill Early Matinee Concert 4:00 pm

Genticorum is a distinctive voice of Québécois traditional music. The trio is Pascal Gemme on fiddle, mandolin, foot percussion and voice; Yann Falquet on guitar, jaw harp, and voice; and Nicholas Williams on accordion, flute, and voice.

In French, to describe the chemistry between people, you say they have atomes crochus—literally, that their atoms are interlaced. Genticorum’s connection is magnetic. In the filigree of their arrangements, seamlessly melding fiddle, flute, accordion, guitar, foot percussion, and voices, there’s always an organic spark. At its root, this is social music, and audiences connect deeply with the pleasure that Pascal, Yann, and Nicholas get from playing together!

Join Genticorum for this special matinee concert at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 7, at Bagaduce Music, 49 South St in Blue Hill.

Consider coming early, at 1pm, for the Quebecois singing workshop with Pascal, Yann & Nicholas, also on the Bagaduce campus! (Separate ticket). Also consider starting the fun on Saturday when Genticorum give an instrumental workshop and concert in Belfast!
