FRIGG is one of the world’s most dynamic and celebrated Nordic string bands, touring globally and reshaping the sound of contemporary folk. Their music is powerful, evocative, rhythmically charged, and full of the sparkling interplay that has made them ambassadors of Finland’s “Nordgrass” sound.

A concert with Frigg takes the listener across the northern musical landscape—joyful, high-energy, melodic, and virtuosic. Their blend of Finnish pelimanni tradition with bluegrass drive and modern acoustic innovation creates an all-embracing folk experience that brings audiences to their feet.

Formed by leading young Finnish musicians deeply rooted in regional fiddle traditions, Frigg quickly rose to international fame. They have since toured across Europe, North America, and Asia, performing at major folk, world, and roots festivals and earning acclaim for their tight arrangements, rich textures, and uplifting stage presence.
