Whimsical Cupcake Decorating

It’s always is a perfect time for whimsically decorated cupcakes! In this hands-on class you will learn multiple techniques and unique designs creating a playfully colored cupcakes. Join us to learn an inspiring new skill that you can recreate to impress clients, friends and family. This small intimate class will include a buttercream icing especially for cupcake designs. Everything is included. Class size is limited so register now.

Included:
• Making specialty buttercream for piping
• Coloring buttercream
• Use of multiple piping tips
• Multiple unique piping techniques
• Techniques that can be used for any season

Students will take home:
• The cupcakes they decorate
• Specialty buttercream recipe

Skill level: Beginner to intermediate

Age requirement: minimum age 16

Breaks: Students will be given a 30-minute break halfway through the class. We encourage students to bring their lunch, as local restaurants can get busy.

ARTIST PAT ASHLEY HOWARD

Pat Ashley Howard is a nationally acclaimed confectionery artist best known for her award-winning gingerbread houses. In 2006 she created her first ever gingerbread house and won the annual National Gingerbread House Competition which features hundreds of diehard gingerbread artists yearly.

The following year she won the grand prize again and a third time in 2011. Since then Pat Ashley has made numerous appearances on the Food Network, The Travel Channel, and TLC to name a few. Her creations have been featured many times on Good Morning America, on display for Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and in Cake Masters magazine.

Gingerbread houses, cookie and cupcake decorating are her other passions and she loves sharing and teaching the craft! But when she’s not baking most likely you’ll find her engaging in her other love …f folding colorful scrapbook paper into boxes and bags and creating party favors for friends and family!
