Back-to-School Lunch Lab (Ages 9–15)

Give your child the confidence to prepare delicious, balanced lunches they'll actually be excited to eat!

In this fun, hands-on workshop, students will learn how to create simple, nutritious, and kid-approved lunches that can be packed for school or enjoyed at home. They'll discover basic kitchen skills, food safety, meal planning, and creative ways to build colorful lunch boxes—all while making their own tasty creations.

Perfect for beginners, this class encourages independence in the kitchen and helps take some of the stress out of busy school mornings.

• Learn basic kitchen safety and food handling
• Build a balanced lunch using proteins, fruits, vegetables, grains, and healthy snacks
• Practice measuring, mixing, assembling, and presentation skills
• Prepare four easy, make-again recipes
• Learn simple meal-prep tips to save time during the school week
• Take home their creations, recipe cards, and the confidence to recreate them at home.

Class Length: 4 Hours

All supplies, ingredients, recipes, and take-home packaging are included.

Students should notify us of any food allergies before registering.

Photographs are encouraged. Videotaping of instruction is not permitted.

Instructor Bio

Debora (“Deb”) Schultz is a self-taught baker from Brazil with a passion for creating desserts that are as beautiful as they are indulgent. She is the owner of Nossa Bakehouse, a micro-bakery known for it's special-event cakes, and pop-ups throughout the Orlando area.

Deb’s love for baking is deeply personal - rooted in her Brazilian upbringing, her love for sharing food, and her desire to connect with people through unforgettable flavors.

When she’s not in the kitchen, Deb enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, connecting with other creatives, and exploring new ways to bring people together through food. She believes baking is equal parts craft, science, and joy - and she can’t wait to share her expertise and passion with you in this hands-on class
