CARTOON COMIC COOKIES are all the rage! What could be better than joining a totally unique fun design and delicious cookies altogether. In this hands-on class you will learn to create the latest craze in cookie decorating. These cookies are whimsical with tons of comical charm and you can do it. Everything is provided, just come ready to learn a new skill that will amaze and delight friends, family, and clients.

In this class you will:
• make a special royal icing for cookies
• color royal icing
• learn to flood with royal icing
• create wet-on-wet and pipe-on-wet designs
• create the “cartoon comic look” with black trim

Age requirement: minimum age for this class is 15

Skill level: beginner to intermediate

BREAK

Students will be given a 30-minute break halfway through class. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch as area restaurants can get busy.

ARTIST PAT ASHLEY HOWARD

Pat Ashley Howard is a nationally acclaimed confectionery artist best known for her award-winning gingerbread houses. In 2006 she created her first-ever gingerbread house and won the annual National Gingerbread House Competition which features hundreds of diehard gingerbread artists yearly.

The following year she won the grand prize again and a third time in 2011. Since then Pat Ashley has made numerous appearances on the Food Network, The Travel Channel, and TLC to name a few. Her creations have been featured many times on Good Morning America, on display for Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and in Cake Masters magazine.

Gingerbread houses and cookie and cupcake decorating are her other passions and she loves sharing and teaching the craft! But when she’s not baking most likely you’ll find her engaging in her other love …f folding colorful scrapbook paper into boxes and bags and creating party favors for friends and family!
