Ghar - Tape A Tale
Ghar is finding its way across the sea to the heart of LONDON, a no-judgment open mic in India has grown into a home for stories, poems, words, and everything in between.
Whether you’re carrying a poem, a heartbreak, a story, or simply the courage to share, Ghar is your space. And in a world that moves too fast, here’s your pause. Your people. Your moment. Your community. Your stage. Because home isn’t always a place. Sometimes, it’s just a room full of stories and a mic that waits for you.
How This Open Mic Works:
1. Grab your ticket and join us at the venue.
2. If you’d like to perform, write your name on a chit and drop it in the hat on stage. (If you’re here to just listen, we welcome you with open arms and a warm heart!)
3. During the event, our host will randomly pick 10 chits from the hat.
4. If your name is picked, you’ll get 5 minutes to share your story or poem (fiction or non-fiction).
5. At the end of the night, we’ll celebrate by announcing the Performer of the Night. ❤️
P.S. Ghar is a non-biased, chit-based open mic, and we stay true to this format. It’s a safe, welcoming space where you’ll find a home in the warmth of stories, poems, and the beautiful people you’ll meet!❤️
