As You Like It - Presented by The Pilgrim Players

Seasoned Shakespeare actors Deirdre Mullins and Max Bennett met performing one of his plays and have been in thrall to the Bard ever since, playing leads at the Globe and major roles in the international TV series ‘Will’ about the life of Shakespeare. So when pals David and Chloe Ewings announced their move to beautiful Edmondstown House, a wild plan to strike up a meaningful connection with their new community in Ballaghaderreen was hatched.

Max and Deirdre gathered together a troupe of some of their favourite people, who also happen to be amongst the greatest talents of their generation, boasting a wealth of experience from the Abbey, RSC, National Theatre, Globe theatre and Royal Court theatre, as well as major television productions and international feature films.

Set in the grounds of the former Bishop’s Palace, the Pilgrim Players produce brilliant productions of Shakespearean comedies in a beautiful, historic location. Their aim is to make accessible and vibrant theatre not just for ardent fans, but for all comers.

General Admission Tickets to this event are €20 + booking fee. Children's tickets are €10 + booking fee for the evening performances, and free for the matinee performances. Door tickets for each performance (if any remain) will be €25(€15 for children under 12)
