Join Ballaghaderreen artist Conor O'Connell for a hands-on art workshop exploring creativity, observation and the stories that objects can tell.
A recent graduate of the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), Conor's work is inspired by archaeology, nature, rural life and the significance of everyday objects. Drawing on his experience as both an artist and educator, he will guide participants through an engaging creative session that encourages curiosity, experimentation and self-expression.
With interests ranging from fine art painting to traditional heritage crafts such as Bronze Age casting and taxidermy, Conor brings a unique perspective to the creative process, inviting participants to look beyond the surface and discover inspiration in the world around them.
Suitable for artists of all abilities, this welcoming workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to develop new skills, explore different artistic ideas and gain insight into the practice of one of Roscommon's emerging artists.
Whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking to try something new, this promises to be an inspiring and enjoyable creative experience as part of the Ballaghaderreen Arts Festival.
