Welcome to the Mapathon!

Join us as we help map a part of the world in need! This event will give you a chance to use geographic information systems (GIS) to perform service by mapping buildings, streets, rivers, etc in areas where that data is currently unavailable or out of date. The data you provide will help humanitarian organizations better respond to and mitigate natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and other threats.

At the event, you will be taught how to map in as little as 10 minutes! There will be pizza, snacks, and prizes. Please bring your laptop and make an account before you arrive.
