BTM Scholars & Academy Showcase

The 2026 BTM Scholar & Academy Showcase brings together dancers from across our training programmes for an evening celebrating their growth, dedication and love of dance. From our youngest Academy students discovering the joy of ballet to the BTM Scholars taking important steps towards a future in professional dance, each performance reflects a different stage in the journey of a dancer.

The evening will also feature a special appearance by the BTM professional company, and audiences will also be treated to a special preview of The Nutcracker: Adventures in a Tropical Forest, Ballet Theatre Malaysia’s upcoming December production, offering a first glimpse into the magic to come.

From a first plié to the professional stage, the 2026 BTM Scholar & Academy Showcase celebrates the dancers of today while looking towards the artists of tomorrow.
