About The Advanced Level
We invite you to watch the short video below from Isabella. It gives a clear and honest sense of the level and what’s expected.
This level is for dancers with a strong technical foundation, whether you train with a company or independently as a freelance dancer. It is designed to stretch and challenge you, reflecting the demands of a professional training environment. It is ideal for advanced amateur adults, newly graduated students, and professional dancers, including those returning from injury or simply wishing to train with Isabella.
Our work together will be demanding, detailed, and purposeful.
This intensive is for advanced adult dancers (18+) who are ready to go deeper – both technically and artistically. It's challenging work in a space that supports you, lifts you, and leaves you feeling empowered.
You'll Love The Advanced Intensive If:
- You are serious about refining every detail in a positive, encouraging, and inspiring environment
- You have several years of consistent, high-level training
- You are an advanced amateur adult, graduate student, freelance dancer, or professional dancer
- You are comfortable with fast, complex combinations that challenge both body and mind
- You have the strength and stamina for long, demanding training days
- You are accustomed to taking advanced-level classes at your studio
Our work will be focused, encouraging, and purposeful.
You May Wish To Consider Another Level If:
- You are still building basic coordination or stamina
- You rarely work en pointe
- You have limited experience with beats or grand allegro
- You are still developing confidence with directions
- You do not yet have the strength for extended single-leg work
- You prefer a gentler pace and less challenge in the studio
Progress comes from training in the space that challenges you appropriately.

Schedule
The programme runs over six full training days, typically from around 9:00am to 5:30pm. High levels of fitness, technique, and confidence en pointe are essential, as pointe work is an integral part of the training.
Mid-week, we host an informal social in the studio after class at Rambert (Wednesday 26 August 2026*), offering time to connect with Isabella and your fellow dancers
*Date subject to change

What our participants are saying

Application Process
To create a space that feels high-level, focused, and supportive - where everyone can grow at the right pace, challenge themselves appropriately, and work to a similar high standard - we ask for a short audition video.
How To Apply
1. Prepare your video
Before tickets go live, film a 5-10 minute audition video. If you have a variation or repertoire you’d like to include, you are welcome to do so.
Upload your video to YouTube and set it to unlisted, so it can only be viewed by us or anyone with the link.
2. Purchase your ticket
Tickets go on sale Sunday 1 February at 14:00 (GMT)
3. Submit your video link during checkout
Before you check out and complete your purchase, you will be asked to fill in a short form. This is where you will need to provide the link to your application video.
Important: Please include your video link at checkout. Without it, we will unfortunately need to void and refund your ticket.
4. Application review
Within 7 days of receiving your video link, we will review your submission and confirm your place. If we feel another level would support your training more effectively, we will reach out to discuss options (subject to availability) or offer a full refund.
Questions about the video or process? Email events@balletwithisabella.com - we’re here to help.

Refunds
We understand that sometimes plans change, and we’ll always do our best to support you.
- If you cancel more than 60 days before the Intensive begins, you’ll be eligible for a 50% refund – just send us an email and we’ll happily arrange it for you.
- Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 60 days of the Intensive start date.
- Please note that we can’t refund any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
Terms & Conditions
- Booking Your Place: Spaces are limited and full up quickly! Your spot is confirmed once we have received full payment and you have submitted your video link at checkout.
- Who Can Join: Our Intensives are open to all dancers aged 18 and over. These events are physically demanding, so please make sure you feel prepared for several days of dancing – we’d hate for you to risk injury. Your body knows best!
- Why Insurance is a Good Idea: We strongly recommend obtaining personal travel or event insurance in case you need to withdraw due to illness or injury.
- If You’re Injured or Unwell: If you are managing a minor injury, you’re still very welcome to attend! We’ll do our best to adapt things for you – please just know that you’re participating at your own risk. In case of illness, injury or fatigue, we may suggest you rest or withdraw – this decision will always be made with your safety in mind. Please note that our standard refund policy applies in all cases, including withdrawal due to illness or injury.
- Hands-on Support: To help with alignment and technique, Isabella or a member of the BWI teaching team may use gentle, hands-on corrections. If you’d prefer not to be physically adjusted, just let us know in advance, we absolutely respect your boundaries.
- Looking After You: If you become unwell, injured or overwhelmed during the Intensive, we may suggest temporarily or permanently asking you to sit out or take a break for your own safety. We will always prioritise your well-being.
- Level Placement & Group Respect: If it turns out you’ve booked a level that’s not quite right, we’ll chat with you and decide what’s safest. If we feel it’s best for you not to continue, you’ll be refunded. If someone’s behaviour disrupts others or affects the group’s experience, we reserve the right to ask them to step away. A refund will be issued only at our discretion.
- Looking After Your Things: Please keep an eye on your things – we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items during the Intensive.
- A Quick Note on Liability: By booking your place, you’re letting us know that you feel fit and ready to participate – and that you understand you’re joining the Intensive at your own risk. While we’ll always prioritise your safety and well-being, ISABELLA can’t be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage that might occur during the event. If you choose to join us against medical advice, or don’t follow guidance from Isabella or the ISABELLA team, we won’t be liable for any resulting issues. By attending, you agree not to take legal action against Ballet With Isabella LTD in relation to any injury or damage to yourself or your belongings.
- Photos & Videos: We love capturing the magic of our Intensives! We may take photos or videos during classes and activities. By attending, you’re giving us permission to be featured – but if you’d prefer not to appear in any content, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate. All photos, videos, and recordings captured during the event belong to ISABELLA, and may be used in future promotional, marketing, or educational content. If you would prefer not to appear in any media, please notify us in writing before the event.
- What If The Plan Changes? We will do our absolute best to stick to the schedule and advertised team, but sometimes unexpected changes are unavoidable. If Isabella can’t teach due to unforeseen circumstances, another wonderful teacher from the ISABELLA team close to Isabella and her style will step in. In this case, no refunds will be issued.
- If We Need to Cancel or Postpone: If something outside of our control happens (like illness, extreme weather or emergencies) we’ll give you the option to: a) Get a refund, or b) Transfer your ticket to another ISABELLA London Intensive, subject to availability.
