GUYS AND DOLLS

In August 2025 the University of Ulster closed the famous Riverside Theatre, despite a vigorous campaign to keep the fifty-year-old building open. Ballywillan Drama Group, after twenty-four years of performing there found themselves searching for a new home for its award-winning shows.
Coleraine Leisure Centre came to the rescue, providing them with the facilities they need, and, hopefully, moving forward, it will be home to their main musicals each year.

Which brings us to this production of GUYS AND DOLLS. An exciting fresh look at this classic musical.
Creative sets, huge digital screen, wonderful costumes and, of course, the outstanding music and songs of Frank Loesser. A show not to be missed.

The musical features a host of Northern Ireland's musical theatre talent as they tell the story of gamblers Nathan Detroit and Sky Masterson whose lives become intertwined with their respective love interests, nightclub singer Miss Adelaide and puritanical Salvation Army officer Sarah Brown.

The story explores themes of love and faith culminating in a gamble that unites the two couples in a surprising way.
