BALRZ ASSESSMENT EVENT

Age group: Under 17 / 18s (2024/25 season age groups)

Tooting and Mitcham Utd FC, Imperial Fields Bishopsford Road, Morden SM4 6BF

Tuesday 18th February 2025

Meet: 5:45pm

Start: 6pm Finish: 8pm

What to expect:

• Match relevant drills, to assess you in game situations
• Games, designed to challenge and assess your playing ability.

Frequently asked questions:

Am I guaranteed a professional trial after I attend an assessment?

No. The point of a showcase is to gauge your level and see if we feel you’d be of a level that may interest a professional football club / academy.

What happens if there is interest in me?

After each showcase players are notified of any interest from clubs and BALRZ Staff will speak to parents of those that we feel we can get a trial at a club - some clubs might not be looking for players in your position.

What if no clubs show interest?

We will provide you with options that we feel suit your ability, these may include:

• Opportunities abroad (for senior players)
• Non-league / semi pro clubs
• Established private academies that have a reputation of developing talent

Can I attend more than one showcase?

Of course, you can attend as many as you want, as long as you book on.

Why have I paid for the showcase?

Your fee covers all expenses it costs to host a game (officials, refreshments, pitch booking etc)

What scouts will be attending the showcase? or request the footage:

• Scouts from professional clubs / semi-professional clubs
• Agents
• Coaches and other staff from professional / semi-professional clubs.

Can I get the footage from my match?

Yes, the footage will be sent ONLY to the players that signed up to the email address that was used in the sign up.
