Description

This event is open to the public.

NTU Psychotherapy is an African-Centered approach to health and healing through clinical practice.   In this training, participants will:

  • Receive an introduction to this clinical modality
  • An understanding of how a relational worldview and Africentric principles can inspire holistic care and treatment for communities of color
  • Space to explore an evidence-based, African-centered framework

The training will be facilitated by Maisha Davis, a native of Baltimore, who is driven by her passion for the thriving potential that exists within our communities. For more than twenty years, she has shared key social work abilities with families, youth, communities, human services professionals, and organizations that serve vulnerable populations.

One person may attend per fee paid. Attendees who have not paid will not be allowed in the room. All registrations are final.  There will be no refunds. Fees paid can be credited towards future workshops.

Membership Rate:  The membership rate is available to those who are 2022 paid members of any chapter in NABSW. Chapter membership will be verified. Non-members who would like to access the training at the membership rate must pay membership dues prior to registering at the member rate.
