Words to Shape the World We Want

This Parramatta's Lit! Event is a partnership between the Baramadagal Darug Community, Parramatta for Palestine and the Coalition of Women for Justice and Peace with the support of Creative Australia.

Join with us to share light refreshments from 6:30pm - 7:00pm.

We will then hear from invited guest speakers;Baramadagal Darug woman Jayne Christian, Sara Haddad who is a Lebanese Australian woman, editor and writer and author of The Sunbird, and Assala A Sayara who is a Palestinian woman, PhD candidate, social worker and founder of Haweyate. 

You’re welcome to bring a short piece of your own writing, or a piece of writing meaningful to you while properly attributing the author, to share as we focus our thoughts on shaping the world we want for humanity.

Limited number of spaces available. Pay if you can - with proceeds to be split between First Nations and Palestinian initiatives announced on the night.

Light rail and train transport located close by, parking also available onsite via Queens Road entry.
