Baramada Blakout Day brings together Baramadagal, Boorooberongal and Cabrogal peoples of the Darug community, alongside other First Nations voices, through conversations on Caring for/as Country and contemporary issues facing Ngurra; a conversation between Baramadagal Darug man Willem Brussen and Bundjalung and Kullilli man Daniel Browning about Daniel’s work as a journalist, broadcaster, critic and interviewer; and Story Time with Burramattagal Darug author Amanda Goode, featuring a reading from her children’s book My Best Friend.
A community makers’ stall will be on-site for purchases on the day, with light refreshments provided.
