The Miraculous Story of Prophet Isa/Jesus (a)

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We are excited to host an engaging workshop on Prophet Jesus (alayhi-salam). This is an essential workshop for all children, especially if they go to mainstream schools. Children will learn the story of the Prophet Jesus from a Christian, secular perspective at school and be influenced through the general atmosphere around them. It is a duty upon us to teach the Islamic version, in addition to teaching them how important Prophet Jesus is to Muslims. We also hope to encourage respect for others, whilst having a strong connection with their faith.

Our workshops are fun, engaging, and practical. We aim for the children to learn through an enjoyable atmosphere, crafts, story-telling, and fun teaching methods.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

1. We believe your children's Islamic education is an essential part of their growth. When you invest in their Islamic education it will allow them to have the tools to effectively deal with the challenges of life and stay grounded as young believers.
2. Children are bombarded with Christmas and it looks fun! Every children's program has a festive spirit, and truthfully it is unavoidable. We would want to help you give them the Islamic understanding of Prophet Jesus so they have the correct information and stay away from unislamic practices and beliefs.
3. We want children to love and enjoy Islam, so our workshops are interesting, fun, and enjoyable!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 

This event has a fee of £5 for each child and a 50p process fee. Your fee will help us cover the costs of these events and invest in more materials for future events. There is an option to donate to support our work.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This workshop is aimed at children from the age of 5 to 10 /11 in Year 6.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

• This is a drop off only session.
• A water bottle.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• If you are unable to make it, kindly let us know so we can give your space to someone else. If we are not informed, unfortunately, we cannot prioritise your booking in the next session.
• Please be on time. The session starts at 2pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early to start the session on time.
• Remind your children to show exemplary behaviour and respect to all volunteers and teachers. If your child has any special needs it is important to inform us, so we can cater to them.
• Pick your children on time. We will finish at 4pm inshaAllah.
