A March concert of Brahms Requiem and John Williams
Sun 23 Mar 2025 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
St Mary's Church, Primrose Hill, NW3 3DJ
Description
Brahms' Requiem is one of the most magnificent works in the choral repertoire and a wonderful experience for both singers and audiences alike. Whereas a traditional requiem consists of prayers for the dead, Brahms has his focusing on the living and on the experience of human life. We've paired this with excerpts from John Williams' Close Encounters - so an interesting combination.
The ticket price includes a programme. There will be a pay bar on the night (alcoholic and soft drinks)
NOTE - our last concert sold out. We would love everyone to have the chance to hear this great piece so we are also selling tickets to the dress rehearsal in the church on the afternoon of March 23rd from 1:30pm to 4:30pm (with tea included). Obviously there may be some stopping and starting but this will be kept to a minimum.
