Barnet Symphony Orchestra plays Tchaikovsky and Madetoja

Experience the brilliance of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto live — a masterpiece of passion, virtuosity, and beauty. Its sweeping melodies, fiery energy, and emotional depth captivate audiences, showcasing the soloist’s dazzling technique and heartfelt expression.

We have paired this with Madetoja’s Second Symphony — a Nordic gem blending lyrical beauty, melancholy, and quiet strength. Its rich orchestration and emotional depth reflect Finland’s landscape and spirit, offering both intimacy and grandeur. Rarely performed, this symphony rewards listeners with a deeply moving, atmospheric journey through early 20th-century musical poetry.

The ticket price includes a programme.
