Great Childhoods Ambition Community Fund Launch

We are delighted to invite you to the official launch of the Great Childhoods Ambition Community Fund, an exciting opportunity to get involved with the Great Childhoods Ambition (GCA) collaborative programme. The programme aims to support families and children, so that every child in Barnsley feels a sense of belonging and can explore, dream, grow, and connect.

The event is your opportunity to discover how voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations can access funding to sustain this vital work. We are encouraging charities and community organisations that work with families and young people 0-18 (including during pregnancy) to come along and find out about the funding. ALL-sized organisations are encouraged to attend as there will be different levels of funding available depending on the size of your organisation.

At the event, you’ll:

• Get an overview of the GCA and the purpose of the fund
• Learn about funding priorities, eligibility, how to apply and the funding timeline
• Hear from partners and organisations already making an impact
• Explore how we can collaborate to build a stronger and more enriching local system for families and young people
• Be able to speak to the funders and clarify any questions you have

Tea and coffee will be provided.

Please be aware that places are limited to 1 person per organisation due to a limited capacity. However, if you feel it would be beneficial for 2 people from your organisation to attend, please email us on info@barnsleycvs.org.uk and we will discuss this further.
