Barrow Raiders Debenture Sale

Barrow Raiders are seeking investment through the sale of debentures, both to increase their membership and to try to keep the club's upward trajectory.

All new debenture holders will become members of the club and effectively become owners.

The club is a limited company by guarantee meaning that there are no shareholders and no dividends paid. All profits are reinvested into the club.

Each debenture purchased allows one vote on company matters, including the election of directors, currently up to a maximum of 25,000 votes.

The debentures are only repayable by the club under certain circumstances or if the club so wishes to repay

For purchases using this platform you will be sent a certificate by the club secretary which will include the terms and conditions

LIABILITY OF MEMBERS

1. Notwithstanding anything in the Memorandum of Association to the contrary, each Member of the Company undertakes to contribute to the assets of the Company in the event of it being wound up whilst he is a Member or within one year afterwards for payment of debts and liabilities of the Company, contracted before he ceases to be a Member, and the costs, charges, and expenses of winding up and for the adjustment of the rights of the contributors amongst themselves, such amount as may be required not exceeding one pound (£1).
