RELAX & CLAY - Open Studio Sessions

ABOUT THE EVENT

is a 2 hours -  OPEN STUDIO SESSION designed for both beginners and those with experience to experiment and work independently with small guidances from one of our teachers — introducing and refining handbuilding techniques if necessary while sharing interesting clay curiosities, all accompanied by a relaxed glass of refreshing sparkling water and some snacks.

Together, we learn how to shape our ideas while embracing the natural flow of the clay. The focus is on slowing down, beginning again, experimenting, and discovering your own way to build a unique piece in a calm and supportive atmosphere.

By the end of the session, you can decide whether you’d like to keep your piece and have it wrapped in plastic to continue next sessions to glaze  and fire it at the studio, or take it home as a raw unfired decorative object.

Open Studio - Facilitator: 

Blanca Lecube is a ceramic artist, an industrial designer and a travel researcher of traditional crafts. She discovered her passion for clay and arts & crafts over 7 years ago and has been sharing her passion for clay by teaching at Barsega Studio for more than 5 years. You can explore her artistic work at Blancuras. Blanca is the perfect mentor to guide you into the world of ceramics & glazes and ignite the curiosity that has fueled her own artistic and crafting journey.

*REGULAR TICKET: 45€ - 1 SESSION

Firing & glazing costs: 5€ small piece // 10€ big piece

4 SESSION PASS TICKET: 150 € for 4 sessions ( to be used in different Relax & Clay dates through 1 year validity)
