Basecamp Enterprise Awards Evening 2026 and 25th Anniversary of the New Enterprise Competition.

This year, not only are we celebrating the fantastic 2026 winners of New Enterprise: Growth, Engineers and Scientists in Business, and the People’s Choice Award, but we also mark a significant milestone in the University of Bristol's history of supporting, investing and recognising the entrepreneurial endeavours of our students — the 25th anniversary of the New Enterprise Competition.  

Over this time the New Enterprise Competition has become one of the longest running university supported events of it's type, which has maintained its a place of being a catalyst for student led innovation across all disciplines. It is now a flagship among the start-up and spin-out support provided more widely by the University of Bristol and a great example of how innovation is identified, developed and supported by the University.

This special evening will bring together founders, alumni, partners, and members of the entrepreneurial community in the City, to reflect on the legacy the competition has created, and to look ahead to its ambitious and impactful future.
