Keith McDevitt: Approaching the finish line

There is a saying that’s commonly used, it’s a marathon and not a sprint. In the world of cyber this saying also applies.

Keith has decided, at 47 years of dedicated public service, that he has gone beyond the 42k that makes up a Marathon and is now in Ultra territory and it’s nearly time to retire and take it easy.

His interest in cyber like his interest in distance running came late in his career, He considers himself a non-traditionalist and has held the self-acclaimed title of Cyber Resilience Integrator which reflects his views on his role.

In the session, Keith reflects on his career through policing and into cyber, the changes and challenges encountered over the years and of course his thoughts on the future.
