HOW TO APPLY FOR THE CERTIFICATE COURSE

The fee helps to cover some of the administrative and staffing costs associated with processing the volume of applications that we receive. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a place on the Certificate Course.

YOUR APPLICATION WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED WHEN YOU HAVE PAID THE FEE AND COMPLETED THE APPLICATION FORM.

The deadline for early applications is FRIDAY 24th APRIL 2026. After this date, please be informed that the standard course fee will apply (see website for details). Due to the popularity of this course, there is no guarantee that places will remain after the application deadline has passed.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The course takes place over one academic year. There are thirty once-weekly sessions that take place on a Thursday afternoon or evening over three ten-week terms. There is a half-term break in each term in line with Hampshire school holidays. There will be one weekend day workshop per term (Freud on Saturday and Klein and Winnicott on a Sunday). These run from 10am until 4pm or 4:15pm.

The course is split into three groups. Group one (Winnicott) runs on a Thursday afternoon from 2:10pm-5:25pm. Group two (Freud) will take place between 5.45 pm and 9.00 pm and group three (Klein) will run from 6.30 pm to 9.45 pm. Each evening is split into two sessions: a seminar and an experiential group. Please note you can choose between the afternoon group and the evening groups but we cannot guarantee which evening group you will be in (but you can indicate a preference on your application form).
