The People’s Emergency

The Bassetlaw Environmental Network is working with Christ Church in Worksop to present The People’s Emergency Briefing.

This new short film features leading UK experts who explain the latest science on the climate and nature crisis, how it is already affecting us, and what actions we can still take.

Instead of focusing on headlines or politics, the film gives a clear, evidence-based overview from experts in climate, food, health, economics, national security, and extreme weather.

With support from Jennifer Saunders, Chris Packham and several expert briefings from leading experts in the Climate & Nature Crisis.

Bassetlaw Environmental Network will also be hosting a discussion session after the film, with stalls from local interest groups, experts in climate change, and people within the community who want to see Bassetlaw’s environment thrive. All are welcome; no prior knowledge is needed, and refreshments & nibbles will be available

We would advise no one under the age of 16 at the event, due to the films age certification.
