Ginwag #1: A Night on the Cobbles

Join us for a proper Burnley night out at One Slater Terrace, hosted by Dave Scholes of Six Connections in partnership with Batch Distillery.

Set inside Dave’s brilliant bar space, full of those unmistakable Hacienda‑style Burnley vibes – the evening takes on a relaxed chat‑show feel as Dave sits down with actor Julia Haworth. Julia will share stories from her acting career, including her much‑loved role as Claire Peacock in Coronation Street, giving you a real behind‑the‑scenes look at life on the Cobbles. You’ll also hear how Dave’s mental health training has shaped everyday wellbeing, resilience and connection in our community.

Your ticket includes a guided tasting of four Batch gins (with mixers)*, led by Head Distiller Ryan Evans. Ryan will talk you through each gin, the flavours, how they’re made, and what they pair best with. *Alternative drinks will be available for non‑drinkers.

You’ll also be able to buy additional drinks on the night, including the Six Connections x Moorhouses Time Hazy Pale, and after the event you can pick up Batch bottles and glassware to take home.

We’re also proud to be re‑launching our gin Don’t Bottle It Up – a spirit created to spark conversation and support mental wellbeing. £5 from every bottle sold goes straight to Six Connections.

And most importantly: Half of all ticket sales will be donated to Six Connections, helping Dave continue the incredible work he does across Burnley and beyond.
