Bat Walk at Sonáirte, Laytown
Join Bat Conservation Ireland for a batty evening stroll to celebrate National Biodiversity Week in collaboration with Meath County Council and Sonairte at Sonairte’s Ecology Centre on the banks of the River Nanny. Participants will receive an indoor bat chat and some light refreshments followed by a moonlit walk through local woodland with bat detectors. This event is suitable for children aged 7+. All children must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times. The walk will take place on woodland tracks in low light levels. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
