Bat Detector and Survey Training Course

This is a non-residential training course. Registration will be between 5-6pm on the Friday 23rd June at the Agricultural Show Grounds, Virginia, Co. Cavan. The fee will include course tuition, tea/coffee throughout the daytime and dinner on the Saturday evening at the Willows Café, Virginia, Co. Cavan. A menu will be provided for people to pick their main course and dessert options. Course will finish by 1pm on Sunday 25^th June 2023. Fieldwork will be undertaken in the Co. Cavan area at various locations and, therefore, we will be car-sharing where possible. If weather permits, dusk and dawn surveys will be undertaken, with dawn surveys as optional. After you register for the course, a Bat Conservation Ireland team member will be in touch, to gather details on your experience level in relation to bat detectors and bat surveys. A certificate of attendance will be provided post course completion. Please note that accommodation is not included in the course fee. All presentations will be provided as a PDFs.
