Children's Summer Activities

Come and join us outside this Summer for some outdoor fun. Every Thursday morning between 10:30 - 12:00 there will be outdoor activities for children aged 5+. 

Have a go at Bug Hunting, what animals will you find?  Then create your own bug to take home.

Spend some time investigating the flowers on site. Then create your own college or weaving to take home.  

Thursday 7th August - Bug Hunting with pebble painting

Thursday 14th August - Flower Fun with collage flowers

Thursday 21st August - Bug Hunting with creating your own wooden bug

Thursday 28th August - Fabulous Flowers with a clay print 

Please be aware the ground maybe uneven. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

You will have access to Beckford's Tower and Museum during this time. Walk up the pink spiral staircase to the Belvedere which looks out on the landscape in all directions.

Booking is essential.

Parking is available in the Grotto car park near the paddock, opposite Granville Road (furthest away from Tower). We have three standard visitor car park spaces plus one blue badge space at the Grotto car park. Alternatively, you can park in the laybys on Lansdown Road.

The Museum is located on the first floor of the Tower building and access is up a flight of stairs. The Tower itself has 154 steps to the Belvedere at the top.
