Green Open Homes Peasedown St John; 6 Ashgrove
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the tour! You can view the energy efficiency measures and ask the home owner about their experience. We hope your visit is useful in your own quest for energy efficiency.
Measures installed; All new double glazing and new front door, new smart controls. Our main motivation for getting work done was to make the conservatory a useable space, not just cold in Winter, hot in Summer. We put a new roof on the conservatory with thermal panels and thermal curtains in Spring 2022. We have made the room a usable part of the house without increasing the use of heating, in the most affordable way for us.
Details of property and accessibility; Terraced stone built Victorian era, slate roof, 2 bed house. There is a narrow entrance but all on one level.
5 Buses - 171,172,173,174,522 all stop outside the property. There are parking spaces along Ashgrove or round the corner on Eckweek Lane.
A few housekeeping items:
- Some home owners ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the home.
- We request that you ask before you take photos.
- Most homes will not have refreshments so please bring what you need.
- Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
- Please note that this event may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the home owner; we ask that you check your email prior to setting out.
