Bay Area Muslim Council (BAMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating civic-minded Muslim Americans in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through education, leadership training, and community partnerships, we prepare individuals to serve on local boards, commissions, and civic initiatives, while building bridges across diverse communities.

This year, now more than ever, we see a big change that is occurring. What was not acceptable to talk about a few months ago, has become normalized. This change has to be nurtured and strengthened. Bay Area Muslim Council is at the forefront of ensuring that we are able to drive this change.

Our 2025 Inaugural Banquet was held at the Fremont Marriott on October 4, 2025. The sold-out attendance of 500 guests heard inspiring speakers like Mehdi Hasan, former State Department official Josh Paul, Congresswoman Lateefah Simon, and Imam Tahir Anwar. The focus was on how hyper-local representation and the power of civic action, is the calling of the day for all of us!
