Belted Galloway Experience

Would you like to bottle feed a calf?

For a limited time we are able to offer the opportunity to spend some time stroking and brushing our Belted Galloway calf and give her a bottle

Her story- She was born at a lovely local farm but unfortunately her mother rejected her at birth and the farmer was unable to convince her mum to take her despite their best efforts. So they reached out to see if we would be able to assist and we couldn’t say no!

She has been doing really well, and enjoying her time with us at Baylham, so we thought we would offer this amazing limited experience to our visitors. The times of these sessions fit around her feeding schedule and the milk is the correct amount and concentration for her needs.

The money from this experience will go towards her up keep such as medical treatments, training, feed etc

Two sessions at 1130 and 1530 (These times are not optional).

This session will approximately last for 15 minutes.

One person only

16 years +only

We are not able to make any adaptions for this experience.  (No walking frames, wheelchairs etc) for safety reasons. 

Closed toes shoes must be worn (access may be denied) and clothes you don’t mind getting mucky (you will be provided with a disposable apron and boot covers)

£30 per session (farm entry is included)

Spectators will be required to pay normal entry

She is small but strong- the member of staff may assist you to hold to bottle during the feeding

Please arrive in plenty of time as her feeds must be on time. If you arrive too late the feed will go ahead without you however you may still be able to spend time with the calf depending on the arrival time.
